Use of cookies

These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use the Site, which are the keywords used to find the Site, which are the visited Sites and the visitor traffic origins for the marketing campaigns. The Data Controller can use such information to fill in forms and improve the Site. These cookies collect information anonymously and are sent by the Site itself or by third party site domains.

Cookies of this type are used to integrate third party functions on the Site (for example, feedback forms or social network icons that allow visitors to share the Site contents). Cookies in this category can be sent by site domains of partners or by those providing the functions available on the Site.

The Data Controller is not obliged to ask the User’s consent for technical cookies, since they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service. For other types of cookies the consent can be expressed by the User in compliance with the enforced regulation with a specific configuration of the Browser and of computer programs or devices which can be easily used by the User. The Data Controller reminds the User that it is possible to amend cookie preference settings at any moment in time. It is also possible to disable the use of cookies in the browser settings, but this operation could prevent the User from using certain areas of the Site.

Third party websites

The Site contains links to other Sites having their own privacy policy. Such policy may be different from that adopted by the Data Controller, who has therefore no responsibility for Third party Sites.

Pursuant to Art. 122 paragraph 2 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, Data Subjects grant their consent to the use of such cookies in the individual settings selected for the browser used to surf the Site, and they are entitled, at any moment in time, to inform the Data Controller of their decisions concerning the data managed by the cookies that their browser has accepted. 

 

How to configure your browser to disable cookies:

Chrome

  1. Run the Chrome Browser

  2. Click the menu on the browser toolbar close to the URL input field for browsing

  3. Select Settings

  4. Click Show advanced Settings

  5. In the “Privacy” section click “Content Settings

  6. In the “Cookie” section it is possible to modify the following cookie settings:

    • Allow saving data locally

    • Store the local data only till the browser is closed

    • Prevent websites from setting cookies

    • Block third party cookies and website data

    • Manage the exceptions referred to some specific websites

    • Cancel one or all cookies

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Run the Mozilla Firefox Browser

  2. Click the menu on the browser toolbar close to the URL input field for browsing

  3. Select Options

  4. Select the Privacy panel

  5. Click Show advanced Settings

  6. In the “Privacy” section click “Content Settings“

  7. In the “Tracking” section it is possible to modify the following cookie settings:

    • Request the websites not to make any tracking

    • Notify the websites your willingness to be tracked

    • Do not communicate any preference on the tracking of personal information

  8. In the “Chronology” section it is possible:

    • To accept third-party cookies (always, from the most visited websites or never) and to store them for a specified period (until they expire, until the closure of Firefox or ask every time) by enabling “Use custom settings”.

    • To clear the single stored cookies

Internet Explorer

  1. Run the Internet Explorer Browser

  2. Click the button Tools and choose Internet Options

  3. Click Privacy and then Settings and move the slide bar according to the desired cookie setting:

    • Block all cookies

    • Allow all cookies

    • Select the websites where to obtain cookies: move the cursor in the middle in order not to block or allow all cookies. Click Websites, enter a website address in the tap Website Address and then click Block or Allow.

Safari 6

  1. Run the Safari Browser

  3. In the “Block Cookies” section it is possible to determine how Safari must accept cookies from websites.
